Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am about to start probably the biggest challenge of my life (as most of you know I do like the occasional libation!) and in a year when it's my wife's (Kate) 40th birthday, best man at my friends wedding (Phil Cox), Stag Do's, Golf Trips etc....but, going dry for 2017 isn't about me, it's a challenge that will hopefully raise funds for The Pilgrims Hospices around our county.

I have a close affinity with the hospices as my mother passed away in the Ashford hospice in 2014 after a battle with Cancer. The organisation and staff there were incredible and are almost totally reliant on charitable donations. I have raised money for them in the past by completing the Pilgrims 100 cycle ride twice and will be taking part again this May, but the Dry Year is on a different level to that!!!!

I will give you monthly updates on how I'm getting on!!! And will hopefully see you all for a Mineral Water soon!

Please donate what you can.

Very much appreciated.

Ps, look forward to a beer in 2018!!!
