Every day, people living with terminal illness are given the choice to stay at home by Helen's Trust. By responding to the needs of individuals and their families we help people stay at home, bringing comfort and support at the end of their lives.

Story

<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit&nbsp;our JustGiving page.</p> <p>We're delighted to be raising money this year for Helens Trust -Meadowhall's 'Charity Of The Year'. Helen's Trust is a charity helping people with an incurable illness to stay in their own home. It works in the Derbyshire Dales and Sheffield. It was formed in 2001 in memory of Helen Lyon whose friends and family made it possible for her to achieve this final wish.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 5pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; mso-margin-top-alt: 5.0pt;"><span style="color: #0000ff;"><em><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Our challenge is set for <strong>August 18th 2011</strong> to&nbsp;cross the length of Ullswater, Coniston Water and Windermere by Kayak (35km) in just ten hours. </span></em></span></p> <p>The crew consists of ;</p> <p>Richard 'nipper' Nield</p> <p>Darren 'push on' Pearce</p> <p>Bob 'power house' Hawley</p> <p>Ben 'hop it' Hill&nbsp;</p> <p>Richard 'paddle' Pinfold</p> <p>Stuart 'targets' Margetts</p> <p>Dawn 'Ozzy' Osbourne</p> <p>Mick&nbsp;'Otter' Osbourne.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
