Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I am running the Great North Run (for the first time) to help raise money for Pete's Pancreas Project

For those that know me long distance running or any form of running past a 10 yard dash is unheard of. However, to cross the GNR off my to do list while raising money and the profile of a great cause is an added bonus. Therefore guys can I please ask for your support and where possible a donation, every little helps.

The aim of the charity is to raise money to provide research into pancreatic cancer, the fourth most common type of cancer in the UK.

Pete Dowen was only a month into his retirement when he was diagnosed with this hideous disease, and to be given the chance to raise money for such a valuable and worthy cause is a privilege.

If you would like any further information on Pete's Pancreas Project and the work that the charity does, you can go over to www.petespancreasproject.co.uk and have a look.
