I'm part of a team of people from Young's and Findus cycling the 145 miles, coast to coast, from Grimsby to Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool.

We start in Grimsby on Friday 24th September, and finish in Liverpool on the 25th.

Most of us are not seasoned cyclists, and in many cases haven't been on a bike for years, so it's a real challenge for us all, and we hope you'll give generously and make our adventure (and grueling training) worthwhile.

Alder Hey treats over 250,000 people every year, and the charity arm of the hospital - The Imagine Appeal - raises over £3m every year, in order to make the stay of poorly children and their families as comfortable as possible.
