NEWS FLASH! - due to inclement weather in the Aberdeen area the BIG CHRISTMAS HIKE has been postponed. 

Rich, James and Will would like to say that all donations have been really appreciated and WE WILL COMPLETE THE HIKE at a later date - either a BIG NEW YEAR HIKE (in January) or a BIG SPRING HIKE (May).  Thanks for your understanding - we'll keep you posted.

On 21st December Richard, James and Will are going to be doing a BIG CHRISTMAS HIKE in Northeast Scotland.  The gruelling feat will take us 22 miles over the Bennachie mountains in freezing Aberdeenshire (we're doing the Gordon Way - across and back).  This is all for a good cause so please donate some pennies (or pounds) to my favourite charity: International Development Enterprises (IDE) UK. 

IDE helps poor farming families in Africa and Asia to escape from poverty by doubling their income. IDE confronts the challenge of rural poverty by developing products and market systems that serve poor women and men enabling them to access and control water, increase production, create wealth, and improve the quality of life for their families.  See www.ide-uk.org for more details.
