We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

Well it is all done, yes I did strip off along with lots of other people (and freeze my bits off in sea). It was enormous fun and very poignant. Most of the people there had lost someone close to them to cancer. You can still donate, so please do.

Skinny dip for charity - what me - no! Well yes actually!

Perhaps not something you would have expected me to do (or perhaps you would), and hopefully this has brought a smile to your face. If you don't know me, thanks for visiting my page, most people who know me would say I am pretty staid and boring, so this is a bit "out there" for me.

This is probably the daftest thing I have ever decided to do!

WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT FOR THE MOST SKINNY DIPPERS - taking place at four locations around the UK, (I will be revealing all in Dorset) at 08:00 in the morning on 2nd June (so water temperature expected to be between cold and ****** freezing).

As Marie Curie have decided to make this a world record attempt, it means there has to be photographic and video evidence - the video of the last event is on YouTube (but we have been assured - in the words of Kenny Everett that "it will all be in the best possible taste").

I decided to take the plunge (pun intended) and do something for charity, but running a 10k seemed just too hard, so I reckoned I could managed to strip off and run into the sea.

I am raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care, which is a very worthy cause, so plese sponsor me (or get someone else to) for whatever you can (no matter how much of little).

So why Marie Curie - Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to more people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes or in one of their hospices across the UK.

£20 provides 1 hour of Marie Curie nursing care, but whatever you can give will help terminally ill people and their families when they need it most.

Thank you for your support.
