I wanted to do something memorable to help raise money for CLIC Sargent.

I have always had a fear of sharks and thought it was time for me to confront this and hope you will support me in doing so.

My wife has kindly organized this dive to take place on the 23/11/12 at the blue planet aquarium in Cheshire oaks. My children are so excited because they love Bruce from the film Finding Nemo. It will involve me getting a scuba diving certificate and then having the pleasure of spending 30 minutes with 20 sharks. These sharks have more than 200 teeth each and my goal is to get from one side of the tank to the other without a cage! (I cant wait!)

This will also give me the opportunity to get up close and personal with Wilma (a 12ft shark weighing in at 30 stone).

At the end of this (if i survive) i get a certificate! However the most important part to me is achieving my ambitious target for charity.
