My story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

Most of my personal and business travel is done in the East of England - regularly driving on the A14 - which we all know has regular serious traffic accidents. As well as lots of small bumpy country roads.

After hearing about Magpas, I understood the immense difference they make by attending serious accidents on our roads and other types of accidents resulting in serious injuries.

How Magpas makes the difference;

- They attend incidents by the quickest means - either by car or by helicopter.

- They are the only Night Air Ambulance in the UK.

- Unlike the Ambulance service - The Magpas Medics are able to give life saving treatment at the incident - meaning sometimes the difference between life and death.

All of the Medics are volunteers and come from all over the country to give up their spare time in order to provide this life saving service.

Magpas can only continue to operate by receiving donations and support.

Please help me raise as much money as possible for this really worthy cause!

Why Sponsor me?

1. I am scared of heights

2. I am not keen on flying

3. I am an Arsenal fan

So, to sum it up;

I am going to chuck myself out of a small plane at a very high altitude - no doubt strapped to a complete stranger and tumble thouands of feet very very fast towards a very hard and unforgiving ground!

In-between the departing of the aircraft and hitting the ground - I will be relying on a little bit of fabric and some string to get me down safely!

Although Skydiving for charity is not very new.. It is for me - did I mention that I also have a fear of heights? I just hope I stay conscious for the whole dive ;-)

So, please dig deep and donate now to a very worthy charity!
