The Campbell Burns Metabolic Trust offers support to families of children aged ten and under living with a metabolic disorder. The Trust was established in the name of Campbell Burns, born in January 2012 and diagnosed with Leigh's Disease in March 2012, a terminal metabolic disorder.

Story

So I said I wasn't going to do any fundraising this year as I think people have got sick of me asking them for money, but then I realised that there are still sick children who need money, so tough, I want more of your money!!

This March, myself and a few good pals will be running through horrible cold wet mud, and no doubt other people's blood sweat and tears, jumping and climbing over stuff and generally wrecking all the new running gear I got for Christmas. I am running this for the Campbell Burns Metabolic Trust. Campbell was a very handsome little chap who sadly lost his life due to a metabolic disorder when he was only 9 months old. His Parents have worked tirelessly ever since to raise money to help those children affected by similar conditions, whether it be a day out to forget about it for a few hours, kitchen equipment to help with special food preparation or covering travel costs to the hospital, the grants these guys provide are vital.

The Trust is family run, Mark and Bekki do most of it from their kitchen table, and this family mean an awful lot to me and my friends. Anything you feel able to contribute will be massively appreciated.
