I will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in central London on Sunday 11th October 2009 for Practical Action.  As it says on the left, Practical Action is an international charity that works with some of the world's poorest people using simple technology to fight poverty and transform their lives for the better.  For example, my sandbar cropping photo shows a Bangladeshi family farming on the sand plains left behind by floods.
