Story

23/4/2012. Thank you to all who have sponsored me and encouraged / supported me for this wonderful charity and inspired me to the finish line. It took me 5:45 which was a bit longer than i'd hoped because of a knee problem at around 17-18 miles meant fast walk rather than running after that. The half way point was reached in 2h22.

-----------

I've decided to run the London Marathon in 2012 for the Leonard Cheshire Disability charity.

Leonard Cheshire Disability exists to change attitudes to disability and to serve disabled people around the world. Their principal activity in the UK is the provision of services in support of disabled people in the widest context.

Most of my friends and family will have now fallen off their chairs at the news that I plan to run 26 miles since they've probably never seen me run for anything. So, now you've picked yourself up after the surprise, please dig deep for this wonderful charity.

Thank you,

Richard
