Hello All,

 

I’m in the very fortunate position this year to have secured a place in the London marathon through the ballot. I’m now up to 20miles in training and the prospect of completing the full distance is very real, as it’s only 5 weeks away!

 

I have chosen to raise money for a children’s hospice in Berkshire who provide a dedicated service for children with life limiting and life threatening illnesses. I can not imagine the how hard it is for all of the family when they receive news that one of their children is seriously ill. It must be devastating and the care and support that Alexander Devine provide is invaluable.

 

I’m going to be running to raise some much needed money for the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service. They do some amazing work to support families across Berkshire in their own homes, providing much needed respite, palliative care, emotional and practical support. They are working towards building Berkshire's very own children's hospice for these local families which will be supported by a home care team.
