2009 has been an unbelievably bad year for me and my family personally;  I've signed up to do the Ireland to Murrayfield leg of the Cycle Slam with some old friends to start 2010 on a much more positive note - and do my best to raise some money for other people who might be having a tricky time and could use the help.

I hope there'll be lots of events taking place between now and then to give you a chance to enjoy yourself, get involved and donate to the good causes we are representing. More later.
