Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Right thanks to Alistair Goulty's (Marlborough College 1983-8) challenge, and becuase I can't swim the Channel, Climb Everest or Run the London Marathon, I am going to try and lose 25 kgs (that's 55lbs in old money) in 6 months. Apparently that is within Medical Boundaries of not being completely bonkers !!

As many of you know, Mum was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer in October 2010, and given a very bad prognosis. Anyway, the Cobalt Unit at Cheltenham have been amazing, and combined with Mum's very strong will, and determination, she can read this blog today.

She is not cured, Stage 4 means that battles can be won, but the War is everlasting. However everyday she battles on, is another step in the fight against this terrible disease.

If you can spare anything, then I thank you in advance. Either donate now, or wait to see if I can climb my Everest.

Best Regards
