Story

Cord are part of the Toilet Twinning project - see toilettwinning.org. For just £240 a school in Chad or Burundi can have a toilet block. Alright, so that might sound silly, but as the website says "2.5 billion people – that's 40% of the world's population – don’t have somewhere safe, clean and hygienic to go to the loo. The human impact of this scandalous stat is enormous: nearly one in five child deaths each year is due to diarrhea. "

So help me out. £240 is not a lot, but even if we only raise £8 that pays for a bumper gift pack of loo roll for somebody.

Oh, and I'm not just looking to just finish the half marathon, I want to knock 10 minutes off my previous best time. Which means I'm looking to finish in less than 1:49. That'll be tricky for a fat, lazy knacker like me, so please donate enough to keep me going.
