Story

Okay, okay, here's the deal. The woman in the photo is Karen Buchanan, one half of the dynamic duo that is Graham and Karen on BBC Radio Norfolk (10am-1pm weekdays). I've been on their show a few times and suffered them taking the mickey out of me and they are the reason I'm on here now. This is an excerpt of an email I sent Ms Buchanan a few weeks ago:

"put on another half stone ....thoroughly depressing .....I need encouragement ...maybe losing weight for charity by getting sponsorship might do it .....have to sign off now , the chair's collapsed !"

I've got no vices - no drink, no drugs, no ciggies, but my hectic lifestyle means I tend to eat on the run and I've piled on the pounds recently. I need to lose at least 3 stone, but I've only got until 21st December to lose the weight. I'm doing it for the Salvation Army to try and ensure other people get a good Christmas, so please help spur me on - and pledge pounds to help me lose pounds!!

Thanks
Rick xx
