Story
As my friends and family know I started raising money for charity in 2015 after being misdiagnosed with Liver cancer. I just wanted to give something to those who weren't as lucky as me and actually had Cancer.
In 2016 whilst training on my bike for my next charity ride I was hit by a lorry resulting in a fractured spine. Unfortunately this meant I had to cancel my planned BT Tower To Peterborough Cathedral ride in 2016 due to the permanent back pain that prevented me from getting out on the bike.
I suffered from Myocarditis in February this year and almost died in the Ambulance on the way to Papworth. I was told I was having a heart attack and honestly didn't think I was going to survive.Whilst recovering in Papworth I thought my cycling days were well and truly over.
As I don't believe in quitting (unless your a detoxer) I am now attempting to complete the Prudential London Ride 100 on 30th of July 2017. This includes cycling up and down Box Hill and Leith Hill (as if 100 miles wasn't enough) it is a massive challenge as I obviously haven't been on the bikes as much as I would like recently.
I am dedicating my ride to my Aunty Denise Latham who sadly lost her fight in 2016 and am raising money for Marie Curie so please give what you can for me to defeat all the odds and complete this massive challenge.
