Welcome to the Jungle.  The opening line of Axl Rose's infamous Rickshaw Run 1988 inspired classic.

In September this year, we enter the Indian jungle.  We, being the fine gentlemen Scott Russell, Richard Paul and Jason McCamish, are aiming to drive the entire breadth of India in a 7hp auto Rickshaw much like the one pictured at left.

Starting in Gantok, Sikkim in the thin air and rough roads of the Himalayas, we will set forth upon 2 weeks of adventuring stupidity, wobbling, pushing and cajoling our trusty steed with 3 men in it across the sub-continent.  We finish in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. A ludricously picturesque setting with forts that sprout out of the desert and finely sculptured Jain temples, it stands on a ridge of sandstone and is aptly nicknamed 'The Golden City'.

But its all for a good cause, we are aiming to drive accross India to raise money for Frank Water Projects.  Every dollar raised from people like you goes directly to a great cause in supplying fresh water to drinking projects and people right across India who otherwise have to drink from badly polluted river water or trek for hours to access any sort of clean water. 

4000 children die every day because of unclean drinking water and waterborne diseases. Frank Water Projects is a small charity that funds sustainable, safe, clean drinking water projects by installing village filtration facilities.  Every pound donated gives 1 person clean drinking water for the rest of their life!
