On 16th May 2016 our grandaughter Daisy was born at 22 weeks, sadly her lungs were not developed enough for her to survive and she passed away peacefully shortly after being born. She was perfect in every way and everyone concerned was devastated. 

When something like this happens, you just don't know what to do next. Sands provides hospital rooms for bereaved parents and relatives and also provides practical advice with reference to funerals and subsequent arrangements, this information is invaluable.

We are doing the Great North Run in memory of Daisy and hope to raise as much money as possible to enable sands to continue their fantastic work.
