We help people who have lost their homes to build their new beginnings

Story

On Sunday 10th August, Caritas Anchor House staff members Jamie, Kate, Malik and Zoe will be gearing up for an epic 100 mile bicycle relay.

On top of their usual jobs of fundraising (Kate and Zoe), working with rough sleepers (Jamie) and heading up Reception (Malik), they will be tyre-lessly fundraising for Caritas Anchor House, a charity that helps the most vulnerable in one of the most deprived areas in the UK.

Based in East London, Caritas Anchor House provides shelter to over 220 homeless people each year and gives them the skills and support they need to build a better life for themselves.

There are often a chain of events that lead to homelessness, but Caritas Anchor House aims to break that cycle by giving support and guidance to those most in need. Too many lives have been punctured or put on the brakes by the devastating effects of living on the margins of society, but by donating today you can help give someone a second chance.

So while the team saddle up, please pledge your support with a donation. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. All donations go straight to Caritas Anchor House, so it’s also the most efficient way to donate.

Every donation, however little, has the potential to make a big difference in someone's life.
