Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

With a planned bicycle ride and then motorcycle ride through Africa both scuppered, the first due to a knee injury and the second due to the continuing unrest in north eastern Africa which makes it prohibitively expensive for me to travel through the area, I have decided I should take the opportunity to explore my backyard.

 Whilst I have lived in several European countries - England, Wales, the Netherlands, Germany and Isle of Man, and have travelled around some of it previously on foot, horse, kayak, scooter, bicycle, motorcycle, car, sailplane, microlight and light aeroplane there is still a lot of it I haven't seen - indeed in doing my research for this trip I found countries I did not realise where in Europe!.
