Following on from the success of our last cycling endeavour, the eoncycle400 trip around the uk, we are going continental this time. 

Our aim is to cycle 500 miles from Westwood to Dusseldorf to raise much needed funds for E.on Uk's charity of the year Teenage Cancer Trust. We'll be passing through Rugby, Northampton, Bedford, Brentwood, Thurrock, Gillingham, Maidstone, Folkestone, Calais, Dunkirk, Bruges, Ghent, Mechelen, Roermond and Dusseldorf. 

The team this time around include the stalwarts from last time of Nick Saunders, Paul Matthews and Chris Lee. New to the line up are Tod Perry, Iain Stewart and Don Mackenzie.

Big thank you's go to CEVA Logistics who have generously donated some custom cycling shirts for our trip.

We are deeply honoured to be the among first fund raisers for E.on's new charity partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust and have seen first hand the sterling work that they do with teenage cancer victims and their families. We've visited their flagship unit in Birmingham's children's hospital and have took so much inspiration from their patients. We cannot moan about the week's effort to get to Dusseldorf whilst others are so exhausted and low from fighting their illness. This is where the Teenage Cancer Trust excel, their compassion, understanding and support visibly change the mood and outlook of their patients. Things like the "Find your sense of tumour" weekend break really help their patients remember that they are regular teenagers with bright futures.
