Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in people’s homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.

Story

In July and August this year my dad spent some time in Marie Curie Liverpool receiving palliative care.

Sadly he passed away in August.

During his short stay at Marie Curie both he and the family received such amazing care and I would like to do something to raise money for such an amazing place.

I have chose to do this bike ride in dads memory as it is something I love to do, but also as Dad was always my biggest supporter when doing it.  He taught me how to ride my 1st bike, took me to places to ride, helped my buy and maintain my bikes and loved talking about cycling with me.

My Dad was an amazing man who served as a fire fighter for over 30 years, and by doing this i would like to raise some money to support Marie Curie.

Marie Curie is an amazing charity and any monies raised will go to help and support other families going through what we went through.

Thanks for reading and any donations are generously received.
