We will be taking part in the Great North Run, the World's largest half marathon on 19 Sept 2010, followed by the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC on 31 Oct 2010.

We are all members of Third Battalion, The Rifles, and were deployed to Sangin, Afghanistan from Oct 2009 to Apr 2010. Three of our team were injured whilst on tour and two will be taking part in the events in their hand bikes.

We will be raising money for our regimental charity, Care for Casualties, as it aims to raise £1million in 2010 to support Rifles' casualties.

The Rifles have sustained more casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan than any other regiment, and your donations will help to provide care for our comrades.
