At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

On 15th December 2021, in the beautiful Southwark Cathedral, the Alzheimer's Society are hosting a festive evening of music and celebration. This year, the event will also be available to watch online via a bespoke purchasable link - meaning our network can enjoy it from the comfort of our own living rooms!

We have been advised by the Alzheimer's Society that an 'unlimited' link is available to purchase for £500, so, we are asking the network to make a contribution towards this to allow our Clients, their families, and our employees to enjoy the concert.

Featuring a joyful gospel choir, all of your favourite Christmas carols and musical performances from some very special guests, it is set to be a fantastic evening, whilst raising funds for this wonderful charity.

The evening, hosted by author and broadcaster, Grace Dent, features traditional Christmas Carols and readings from celebrity patrons and supports of the Alzheimer's Society. Grace will be joined by a number of special guests including:

  • Lesley Manville CBE, actress - best known for her role in the Crown
  • Sir Jonathan Pryce CBE, award-winning actor and third-time Carols at Christmas guest
  • Ed Balls, broadcaster, writer, and former politician
  • Arielle Free, DJ & presenter

We are suggesting a £10 minimum, but please do feel free to donate more if you are able to - £500 is the amount needed to unlock the sharable link, but it would be great if we could raise more to support families living with dementia.
