Story

Hi, thanks for visiting my page

;0)

For those of you who have known me for a while you may know that back in my youth I used to be a bit of a runner...but moving on over 9 years since I last did a competitve run I thought I'd put my name down for a small jog in our capital, sorry 26.2 miles of pain pounding the streets!!!

I can't deny my training has been sketchy and if I do keel over and have a heart attack at least I have good insurance...seriously I'm really looking forward to doing the run! Ever since the opportunity arose I have been relishing the chance to help out the charity, this is further reinforced by the fact that I'm dad to a hectic toddler (Ben) and fully appreciate how blessed I am to have a healthy child, so would love to help those who are not as fortunate.

Cares4Kids is The Openwork (the Financial Advise network I work for www.openwork.uk.com) Foundation’s current theme and the focus of their grant giving programme. Cares4Kids is designed to support children and young people in the UK and overseas, who are disadvantaged either socially, mentally or physically. Please help and give those who need a hand some money...lets face it, we could all afford to give a few pounds to help?!?

I don't want your life savings, just as much as you can spare that would help change the lifes of children who are less fortunate and need support. So please dig deep and give what you can, as a famous retailer says...

'Every little helps!'

Thanks again, both the Foundation and I really appreciate your support and I'll let you know how I am getting on with my training via my Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/#!/robjcartlidge Drop me a line on here if you want to know more.

Take care
