Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 25th April 2010 I will be taking part in the Sheffield Marathon, my first attempt at any kind of ! At the grand old age of 41.
My main motivation is to raise as much money as possible for a charity very close to me. The charities I am running for are Weston Park Hospital Sheffield (Specialist in Cancer Care).
My father died at the age of 36 from Leukemia when I was just eight years old, so this charity has always been at the forefront of my thoughts.
In 2008 my mother-in-law was diagnosed with Breast cancer, and thankfully had a successful operation in January 2009. So again a Charity which does fantastic work and is close to my heart.
My aim is to try to raise £4,000, just £20 from 200 people will get me to that target, so please give generously, and your support will be very much appreciated by Weston Park Hospital and myself. Please also pass on my page to any of your friends who you think may want to help.
Thank you for your support
