Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On April 15th I am running the Brighton Marathon again for Friends of Newick House, a school which specialises in communication and social interaction.

My seven year old son, Jack, has autism and goes to Newick House. Jack is a lively, adorable little boy who is non-verbal and has sensory difficulties, which make his life very challenging. The staff at Newick House are dedicated to helping Jack communicate and to interact with other people.

The school needs to buy specialist equipment, and now more than ever as it is merging with another local special needs school and moving to new premises.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Last year I ran the Brighton Marathon in unseasonably hot weather, which made it a real challenge. This year I have decided to go through the madness again and have been training hard. Any donations will be gratefully received!
