Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

10 of us are hiking the Bob Graham Round, a 76 miles circuit from Keswick, over 6 days, across 43 different Lake District summits, climbing a total of 8289 metres (nearly as much as climbing everest). We're carrying all our gear, paying for it all ourselves, staying in youth hostels en route, having a few laughs, pressing on whatever the weather.

We all love the outdoors and do loads of walks with www.outdoorlads.com - this in an 'ODL' event. But this challenge is something else - quite a test of endurance.

Whilst we're sweating it out, we're aiming to raise a little cash for the Mountain Rescue Services in the Lake District. None of us knows when we might need them - slip, fall, sudden bad weather, finding someone else on the Fells in need of help - it could be us or a loved one.
