One of my members of staff at work Katy has a super young son Clark who is 6 years old and was diagnosed with the condition two years ago. For Clark it means that in just a few years time he will lose the use of his legs and gradully every othe rmuscle in his body. His life expectancy is in his 20s.

Wonderful potential treatments are currently in clinical trial, they could mean that Clark could have significant muscle function throughout his life and even a normal life expectancy. 

ive been privileged enough to meet young Clark whilst my store has helped raise money for this worthwhile cause......he even soaked me in the stocks by throwing wet sponges at me!
