Many of you will have heard of the trials and tribulations which Paul Verrico and family have dealt with since his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2012. Anna finished chemo in May and has set her sights on running her first half marathon on 29 September in the beautiful Isle of Axholme (about 50 mins from Leeds). It is anticipated there will be a strong Eversheds contingent in support, with Paul Cotton, David Young, Kevin Elliott and Tim Hill leading the partner charge with another 8 lawyers so far signed up. The course is flat and fast - and team members are raising sponsorship to fund research at the University of Sheffield's cancer hospital.
