Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Having completed the1100 miles cycle ride in May 2011, (the whole trip included climbing the 3 peaks in just 14 days!) No support vehicle used..just a mobile to sort accomodation en-route! Nick and I would like to say a massive thank you to all that have donated so far. We really do appreciate your encouragement and support. I have come up with a new challenge to climb Kilimanjo starting on March 6th with my Son Jack. We hope to complete this in 6 days. Any further donations will be greatly appreciated as were hoping to raise more towards our 5k total.
Having watched my younger brother stopped in his tracks by a neurological condition called Dystonia recently, The opportunity to do something to help him arose.
The work of the Dystonia Society
The Dystonia Society is the only charity providing support and information for people living with dystonia across the UK. Its aims are to ensure that everybody living with dystonia has access to the support; treatment and information that they need to enjoy the best possible quality of life.
Dystonia is a debilitating and painful neurological condition which affects the muscles. It affects 70,000 people in the UK. Because of the lack of awareness people diagnosed with the condition can be left feeling isolated and frightened.

As an ex serviceman having served in the Royal Engineers from 1976-1987 i'm more than happy to help try and raise money for the Rifles and Macmillan alike.
