Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Yes, another flipping charity bike ride! Let me explain why this one is special.

Since 2010, my friend Tim and an energetic team of volunteers have inspired hundreds of people to get out on bikes, educated them about healthy living, organised two challenging long-distance continental rides (Winchester-Gibraltar and Italy top-to-toe). Along they way they have raised over £120,000 for Cancer Research UK.

This year's continental ride is perhaps the most demanding yet. We will be riding in 9 days from Winchester to Venice, a distance of over 900 miles, taking in two huge climbs through the Alps and Dolomites. I have been training since March on some of the steepest hills in the South of England but only time will tell whether we are up to that challenge.
