Story
Hello there! Great to see you here on this page... and you must be here for a reason: I am taking part in the London marathon on April 25th 2010, and in order to do that I will raise money for a charity called SPARKS.
SPARKS is a children's medical research charity that offers support across a wide range of paediatric medicine. Their goal is for all babies to be born healthy and stay healthy. I was touched by the stories where SPARKS have made a difference to children's lives - and feel a personal connection to the charity because of what happened to my brother's second child now more than 11 years ago. If you are curious what SPARKS does, please have a look on their website: www.sparks.org.uk.
It is easy to donate online with a debit card or credit card from anywhere in the world - just go to my JustGiving page: www.justgiving.com/RobLuijten. JustGiving sends your donation straight to SPARKS and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more.
Should you be interested in looking at some of my training runs, please go to: http://connect.garmin.com/explore?owner=robluijten.

I hope you'll join me in supporting SPARKS, all donations big and small are very welcome... and I promise I will finish the race!
With kind regards,
Rob
