Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
When my mother-in-law Marian, was ill, we did all we could to get support at home and ensure the very best care for her when she needed it most. We were lucky to have private nurses to manage this with us.
Macmillan Nurses do a fantastic job in supporting and caring for cancer patients, and they need our help to continue to do so. It's likely that we've all known or known of someone who has battled with cancer, so it makes complete sense to me that charities like Macmillan get all the support we can give them.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
If I manage to raise £250, I will run in a male nurses outfit. If I raise £500 I will run as a female nurse. I am completely aware that this may be a counter-productive incentive to some, but hey...
So please dig deep and donate now.
