My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you can see, I am fundraising for the Leeds Childrens Charity which offers deprived children the opportunity of a holiday in Silverdale near Morecombe once in a while. The charity has been est since 1904 but has lost all local authority funding this year so needs supporting.
My challenge is to do 2012 miles in 2012 - through running, walking, cycling, rowing, swimming and cross training. At least 25% will be running! 503 miles - as you know that is a LOT for me!
Thats's 5.5 miles a day average and 168 miles a month!
Ideally please - you would sponsor me per mile...assuming I do the 2012... if I don't I will refund YOU the difference! However anyhting is welcome for a worthy cause.
For example - 1p a mile is £20.12
0.5p a mile is £10.06
0.25p a mile is £5.03

Leeds Children's Charity provides free residential short breaks/respite for disadvantaged and socially excluded children aged 7 to 11 years. Over 300 children each year enjoy time and space to be themselves at Silverdale Holiday Centre, near Morecambe.
