Thames Bridges Bike Ride · 14 May 2006 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thank you for visiting. Please give whatever you can and sponsor the Stroke Association online now.

This was my 8th year of riding this event. This time we were again a team of 2 fathers and 2 daughters. The route covered 32 miles and 14 bridges, starting at Tower Bridge and ending beyond Hampton Court Palace.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to contribute: The Stroke Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support for this worthy cause! It is a great way for you to help make the world a better place.
