Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have lived in England for 18 years now and during this time I have lost many friends and family to this terrible disease, Cancer. As a father and a family man it makes me shiver to the core to think I could lose a child in this way and it is every parents biggest fear that they will out live their children.

At university I prepared a presentation for the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust and to learn about Laura's story was really touching and emotional experience. The work and support the organisation gives to young people and their families is the direct reason why I think this is such a worthy cause. So when asked if I would lead a walk to my former club the Brdford Bulls on behalf of the Giants and the LCYCT I jumped at the opportunity. Together I believe we can really make a change.

The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust was created in 1996 with the aim of improving awareness of cancer in children and young adults aged between 13 and 24. The funds raised help towards the increased understanding of cancer, improved treatments and increasing the number of lives saved within the age range

Robbie Hunter-Paul
