The Notts/Lincs air ambulance transported me to Lincoln County Hospital when I suffered a serious injury to my wrist playing rugby aged 13. I nearly lost the use of my hand and would never have been able to fulfill my dream of playing professional rugby and representing Scotland without the fantastic treatment I received.

The charity is also the chosen cause of a very close friend of mine who passed away.
