This year 18 Borras employees will be embarking on another Kayak down the Upper Thames from Tadpole Bridge in Faringdon Oxfordshire to Dorchester on Thames to raise money for this years dedicated charity, Herts Air Ambulance.

We have increased our distance from around 40 miles to 50 miles this year just to keep everyone on their toes. We have safety in numbers this year with a record 18 people taking part.

Herts Air Ambulance is a self funding organisation and relies heavily on sponsorship. They operate 7 days a week and require around £480,000 per month to cover the running costs and aircraft operations. Since its launch they have flown over 1900 missions. The type of missions they carry out can be anything from a heart attack, road traffic accident to fall from height.  Type of incidents that could happen to any of us.
