In 2004 my girlfriends father was diagnosed with MND. George was told he could have 3-5 years life expectancy following diagnosis however lost the battle 10 very short months afterwards.

George lost the use of his limbs and speech but fought to the end and always had a smile when you went to see him.There is currently no cure for MND and George knew this when diagnosed and hoped some day a cure would be found. MND Scotland are working hard to find a cure and with your kind donations they are one step closer.

George may be gone but is thought about every day and will never be forgotten.
