*****update march 2016.******
Due to unexpected circumstances the attempt has had to be postponed until summer 2017. Please do not donate until a further update has been applied. Thank you to all that have donated so far.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Myself and 3 colleagues from Norfolk have been chosen to take part in a 30 hour rugby world record attempt at the iconic Cardiff Arms Park. This is a full rules match with just 23 squad players per side.
We are playing against a Ty Hafan charity select side. Their line up is unknown as yet
For those that know me, will understand how much of a struggle it is to play just one 80 minute match and how much I love my sleep....so to attempt this is daunting enough as it is. I'm sure the sleep deprivation will also make for interesting calls and talks during the match...after all gibberish is a speciality!
But its for a very worthwhile cause, our charity benefits, current, retired firefighters and their families. We have rehabilitation centres to aid injured firefighters back to fitness, care for them and their families in times of stress and worries.
Hopefully after this attempt I wont be needing their services....
