most people who know me will know i am no fitness guru! so the decision for me to attempt a marathon is not one taken lightly.

the chosen charity for me and Jo to represent is Macmillan Cancer Support. Some of you will know Jo's dad my, father in law was taken by cancer a while back. During  a difficult family time the Macmillan nurses were amazing and a constant source of support. these people do an amazing and difficult job and i couldn't think of a more deserving charity.

the cause is very dear to the heart of my wife and i support her and them wholeheartedly. so dig deep in your pockets and give as much as you can!

well folks that's the marathon over with, it was hard, way beyond what i expected but i finished so am happy with that.

will i run again?

never say never huh, maybe next year!
