Basically, on June 14th, Gary and I are planning to throw ourselves out of a plane at 10,000 feet, free-falling at 120mph for 3,000 ft and then parachuting the final 7,000ft to a (hopefully) comfortable landing....very scared, or should I say bloody petrified, but it’s all for a great cause. We're raising money for the Toni & Guy Charitable Foundation, who are building a new state-of-the-art children's ward at King's College Hospital for the Variety Club.

40,000 children are treated at King’s every year and it is renowned for providing quality services for children who travel from across the country for specialist treatment, particularly in the fields of liver disease, neurosurgery and cystic fibrosis. The new ward makes sure that the Variety Club Children's Hospital can continue to provide the first class care they are renowned for.

It really is a great cause, and any donation big or small would make a big difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and help us support a great cause.
