After hearing an old friend and colleague of mine had passed away at such a young age it really shocked me! My memories of when we were kids and later in life working together are only fond ones, Matthew was a gentle giant and a loving family man who was taken to soon from an illness I was unaware even existed in men!

Breast cancer in men is real, don’t be ashamed if you feel a lump please get it seen too, For men, the lifetime risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer is about 1 in 833, and although that statistic may seem rare for an illness I didn’t know happened in men I think that’s a lot.

I just want to raise awareness to everyone about breast cancer as well as women as much as men, please do not be shy get it checked if it doesn’t feel right.
