We did it! The team covered the 272 miles (it always seems to end up further than you think!!) from Richmond in leafy Surrey to Wharfedale RUFC bang on schedule, rolling into The Avenue just before 14.30 on Saturday. Two and a half days of hard work, particularly into some tough headwinds on Friday afternoon and rain on Saturday morning, but some great teamwork and camaraderie kept us rolling on. And Wharfedale won an entertaining game so the battle to avoid relegation continues!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported in whatever way, particularly the two clubs and you, the sponsors, whose generosity made all the pain worthwhile. Also a big shout for the Castle Inn in Cawood who gave us shelter, tea and biscuits free of charge when the going was at its toughest on Friday!!

We presented the Air Ambulance with a cheque for £6,000 - we're not quite there yet but there are some pledges still to come in and there is still time for more people to give on this site!!
