Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

Jesuit Missions is the international development and mission office of the Jesuits in Britain. For over 50 years it has supported vulnerable communities in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Story

I am running the London marathon this year for Jesuit missions, I have chosen this charity because I went to a jesuit school and really enjoyed the experience and got a lot out of it. I would like to help the Jesuits in their mission across the world to help those people who need it most.

The Society of Jesus was founded by St Ignatius Loyola over 450 years ago to serve the needs of the Church and to minister to all peoples.  Their role is to spearhead fundraising initiatives, provide logistical support and, crucially, to raise awareness of the plight of people in developing countries.

So please donate as much as you can to this charity, and I will get training and hopefully complete the marathon in a good time.
