The Scottish SPCA rescue, rehabilitate, release, and rehome Scotland's animals. We educate people about the welfare of animals in our mission to eradicate animal cruelty. We investigate abuse across Scotland and bring those who abuse animals to justice. We are Scotland’s animal champions.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I guess you’re wondering what I’m up too?

Well, I’m gonna be jumping out of a perfectly good airplane with a really nice instructor strapped to my back.

We’ll plummet a total of 10,000 feet, freefall to 5,000 feet – reaching approximately 120mph (so a wee bit faster than my Mini then!), apparently I’ll do some of the steering…. lol I can see that ending badly……

This is all gonna happen, weather permitting, on 2 April 2011 at Paragon Skydiving club near Errol in Perthshire.

I need to raise at least £395, but I’ve get my sights on a target of £500.

This is all for the Scottish SPCA.

Why them?  Well, apart from the fact they do an outstanding job looking out for domestic, farm and wild animals – they rescued my dog Madi and I’ve been making a donation every month since Madi came to live with me, Donna and Jay.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I know times are hard, but please donate what you can, every little WILL help.

Thanx.

BTW – just so you know….. I’ve never been in a plane before.
