Story

Back in January it seemed like such a good idea. Swim 1.5K, cycle 40K, and run 10K. After all, there was plenty of time to train... Six months and two visits to the podiatrist later, it suddenly looks a bit closer. I've swum in the murky waters of the serpentine in Hyde Park, avoided the deer whilst cycling round Richmond Park and have learned how to watch Andy Murry play tennis without falling off a treadmill. Now all I have to do is get round the course without drowning, crashing or being overtaken by someone in fancy dress. Or Alister Campbell.

It would be great if you could sponsor me. I'm supporting Parity for Disability, a small charity that provides activity schemes, day centres and music therapy for children and young adults with multiple disabilites. I was lucky enough to work for Parity for a few years back, I saw that they are an energetic, creative and well-run organisation that put the people they work with at the centre of everything they do. So please give them some of your money! You can find out more about what Parity do at http://www.parityfordisability.org.uk . And if you carefully on their website you might be able to find a picture of me and Leon on a bouncy castle.
