We are participating in the 164 mile 'Ride the North', challenge cycle ride from Inverness to Aberdeen with an overnight stop at Elgin and would like to generate some funds for the charity partner which is the Monty's Maggies Appeal.  This is fundraising to create a Maggies Cancer Support Centre in Aberdeen Royal Infirmiry.

We have all been affected by cancer in some way and know the distress it brings to sufferers, friends and family.

Maggie’s Centres are for anyone affected by cancer. They are places where people are welcome whenever they need support – from just being diagnosed, or undergoing treatment, to post-treatment, recurrence, end of life or in bereavement. 

They also welcome family and friends, as they are often deeply affected by cancer too and can be distressed, vulnerable and uncertain.
